Deluxe 12-Gourd Rack Kit with Vertical Arms for 2-Inch Square Poles
Already have a compatible 2-inch square Purple Martin pole system? The Deluxe 12-Gourd Rack Kit with Vertical Arms lets you reuse your existing pole and raising-and-lowering components while replacing the rack portion with a fully assembled hub designed to hold 12 gourds. It is a practical way to convert or rebuild an existing system without purchasing an entirely new pole setup.
Fully Assembled 12-Gourd Hub
The kit includes a fully assembled aluminum 12-gourd hub with nylon glide buttons already installed. The glide buttons help the hub travel smoothly up and down your existing compatible 2-inch square pole during nest checks and maintenance.
Please Note: The pole is NOT included. This kit is designed for 2-inch square poles only.
12 Vertical Aluminum Gourd Hanging Arms
Twelve vertical aluminum gourd hanging arms are included, providing one hanging position for each gourd.
The vertical design refers to the way the gourd is positioned on the mounting arm. With the gourd entrance facing you, the mounting arm passes through the neck of the gourd from side to side (left to right). This creates a different hanging orientation from our Horizontal Gourd Hanging Arms, which pass through the gourd from front to back.
The kit also includes 12 stainless-steel hitch pins to secure the gourds to the mounting arms.
What's Included?
The Deluxe 12-Gourd Rack Kit includes:
- Fully assembled aluminum 12-gourd hub with nylon glide buttons
- 12 Vertical Aluminum Gourd Hanging Arms
- 12 stainless-steel hitch pins
Gourds are sold separately.
Reuse Your Existing Pole System
This is a gourd rack kit, not a complete pole system. The landlord supplies and reuses the compatible 2-inch square pole, ground stake, rope-and-pulley system, rope winder, eyebolt, quick link, and pole top cap.
If you already have a compatible 2-inch square Purple Martin pole system, the Deluxe 12-Gourd Rack Kit gives you a straightforward way to reuse those major components while creating a 12-gourd colony with vertical gourd hanging arms.
