EZ-Off Predator Guard for 2-Inch Square Poles
Help protect your Purple Martin colony from climbing predators with the EZ-Off Predator Guard for 2-Inch Square Poles. This removable aluminum guard is designed to be mounted high on the pole, where predator guards are generally more effective, while still allowing you to lower your housing or gourd rack to a comfortable height for nest checks.
Removable for Easy Nest Checks
One of the biggest advantages of the EZ-Off design is that the guard can be removed before lowering your housing. The aluminum body opens and closes on a hinge, and the stainless-steel latch allows the guard to be taken off the pole when needed.
Once the guard is removed, loosen the wing nuts on the custom mounting bracket and slide the bracket lower on the pole. You can then lower your hub section to a comfortable working height for nest checks and maintenance.
Mount It Higher for Better Protection
The removable design allows the EZ-Off to be positioned higher on the pole than many fixed predator guards. By reversing the rope winder on compatible rope-and-pulley systems, the larger tube allows the guard to be mounted farther up the pole.
The higher the predator guard can be positioned, the more effective it can be against climbing predators.

Designed for Convenient Colony Management
The EZ-Off combines predator protection with the convenience Purple Martin landlords need for regular nest checks. Place the guard as high on the pole as you can comfortably manage, remove it when the housing needs to be lowered, and reinstall it when your nest check or maintenance is complete.
