EZ-Off Predator Guard for 3-Inch Square Poles – Pin Version
Help protect your Purple Martin colony from climbing predators with the EZ-Off Predator Guard for 3-Inch Square Poles – Pin Version. This removable aluminum guard is designed for compatible 3-inch square pole systems and hangs from the safety pin already supplied with many Troyer gourd racks and T-14 mounting systems.
Uses Your Existing Safety Pin
The EZ-Off 3 Pin Version is supported by the safety pin included with your compatible gourd rack or T-14 pole system. This makes removal quick and convenient when you need to lower the housing for nest checks or maintenance.
To remove the guard, unlock the keyhole at the bottom, open the latch, pull the safety pin, and set the guard aside. You can then lower your housing or gourd rack to a comfortable working height.

Pin Version vs. Bracket Version
The Pin Version is the quickest EZ-Off 3 to remove because it hangs directly from the existing safety pin. With the bracket version, the mounting bracket must be loosened before the housing can be lowered. For landlords who already have the proper safety pin location on their 3-inch square pole, the Pin Version offers very convenient removal.
For especially windy locations, Troyer recommends the bracket version.
