Already have a 3-inch square outside-diameter pole and want to turn it into one of our most popular gourd rack systems? The Gemini Gourd Rack Kit lets you reuse your existing compatible pole and many of its raising-and-lowering components while replacing your current housing system with the two-tier Gemini Gourd Rack. It is an excellent option for landlords who already have a T-14 pole or another compatible 3-inch square pole and want to make the switch to gourd housing.
The Popular Two-Tier Gemini Design
The Gemini features two circular tiers that create an attractive and functional 24-gourd housing system. The kit includes the aluminum Gemini hub with glide buttons already installed, two complete aluminum ring sections, support beams, and the hardware needed for assembly. Each circular ring consists of four sections that assemble around the hub to create the distinctive Gemini design.
Includes 24 Gourd Mounting Arms
Your kit includes 24 horizontal 90° gourd mounting arms, providing hanging locations for up to 24 gourds. Each mounting arm includes a bolt, nut and hitch pin for attaching the arm and securing the gourd.
Gourds are not included, allowing you to choose the gourd styles and entrances that best fit your colony.

The Gemini Gourd Rack Kit includes everything needed to add the Gemini rack assembly to your compatible 3-inch square outside-diameter pole:

Reuse Your Existing Pole Components
Because this is a conversion kit rather than a complete pole-and-rack system, you will reuse the compatible components you already have. The landlord supplies and reuses the 3-inch square pole, ground stake, cable, cable guide, ball top, top perch rods, eyebolt, winch, winch mounting brackets, upper pulley, and safety pins.
Winch Recommendation
The Gemini is raised and lowered using a winch-and-cable system. While you may be able to reuse the compatible winch already installed on your pole, we strongly recommend a brake winch or worm gear winch for the Gemini Gourd Rack. These winch options provide greater control when raising and lowering the rack and are our preferred choices for operating a Gemini system.
