Designed for 2-Inch T-14 Round Entrances
These plastic plugs are specifically sized to fit the 2-inch round entrance holes found on T-14 Purple Martin houses. Simply use them to close the entrances you do not want accessible during the off-season.
Please Note: These plugs will not fit metal Purple Martin housing or SuperGourds. SuperGourds have a larger 2-1/8-inch entrance.
Help Keep Unwanted Birds Out During the Off-Season
Leaving a Purple Martin house open after the martins migrate can give House Sparrows and starlings an opportunity to occupy the apartments. Closing the entrances helps discourage these unwanted birds from taking up residence during the fall and winter.
When it is time to prepare your T-14 for the returning Purple Martins, remove the plugs and complete your normal spring preparation.
How Many Do I Need?
Plastic Hole Plugs are sold individually. A complete T-14 Purple Martin house has 14 apartments, so you will need 14 plugs to close all 14 round entrances.
If you only want to close selected apartments, simply order the number of plugs needed.
