It is rather large, you would probably need a 55 gallon drum. I would say it would be okay, but I wouldn't submerge for days on end and be sure to completely dry.

Sorry, the ST-2 does not include a hanging bracket. Please refer to the instructions that came with your trap for best placement ideas.

This is best suited for sparrows. For Starlings the S&S Eliminator is best choice followed by the S&S Controller.
