The cover is made from heavy-duty canvas and is shaped to slip around the T-14 house. A heavy-duty nylon zipper makes it easier to place and secure the cover, while drawstrings at both the top and bottom help close the cover around the house.
The cover is designed to fit a standard T-14 house measuring approximately 41” wide x 36” high x 36” wide.
Easy Off-Season Use
At the end of the Purple Martin season, lower your T-14 house to a convenient working height. Slip the canvas cover over the house, close the heavy-duty nylon zipper, and secure the top and bottom drawstrings. The covered T-14 can then remain on its pole throughout the off-season.
When it’s time to prepare for the new Purple Martin season, simply remove the cover and complete your normal spring house preparation.
Important Fit Information
Please verify the dimensions of your T-14 before ordering. This canvas cover is designed to fit a standard T-14 house measuring approximately 41” wide x 36” high x 36” wide. Home-built T-14 houses may vary in size, particularly if they were not constructed according to the standard T-14 plans, and the cover may not fit.
This canvas cover will NOT fit T-14 houses that have been modified with Troyer Tunnel entrances. The tunnels extend beyond the standard dimensions of the house and prevent the cover from fitting properly.
The cover also will not work with homeowner-built wooden T-14 poles larger than 4” x 6”. Please check your house dimensions, entrance style, and pole size before ordering to ensure proper fit.
