Everything you need for a complete T-14 housing system is brought together in one convenient bundle. This T-14 Bundle combines our Poly T-14 House with White Roof, heavy-duty 16-foot T-14 Aluminum Pole, and T-14 Aluminum Pole Mounting Kit with Brake Winch. Instead of purchasing the major components separately, this bundle makes it easy to select a house, pole, and mounting system that are designed to work together.
Poly T-14 House with White Roof
Constructed using durable poly and AZEK materials, this T-14 house offers the traditional T-14 design without the painting and maintenance associated with a wooden house. Both the white body and white roof are made from durable, weather-resistant materials, and no painting is required.
The T-14 provides 14 spacious Purple Martin apartments, each measuring approximately 6-1/2” wide x 6” high x 11” deep. The deep compartments help provide added protection from owls, while offset entrance holes help prevent a straight line of access into adjoining apartments. This Poly T-14 House is equipped with Conley II entrances.
Large front-opening doors provide convenient access for nest checks, clean-outs, and seasonal maintenance. Opening one large door gives you access to either three or four Purple Martin apartments at the same time, making it easy to inspect and maintain the nesting areas. While nesting material such as pine needles can be placed directly on the apartment floor, we recommend adding our Cedar Pull-Out Nest Trays. In addition to making nest checks and clean-outs easier, the natural cedar provides an added layer of insulation inside the Poly T-14 House, helping create a more comfortable nesting environment for your Purple Martins.
One of the additional features of our Poly T-14 House is its stainless-steel hardware. The hinges, hooks and eyes, bolts, and wing nuts are stainless steel for long-lasting durability and rust resistance.
Heavy-Duty T-14 Aluminum Pole
The included T-14 Pole is a three-piece, 3” square aluminum pole that stands approximately 16 feet tall. Made from heavy-duty T51 aluminum, this is the same proven pole design used with our larger gourd rack systems and is built to provide strong, dependable support for the T-14 house.
The pole includes a heavy-duty aluminum ground stake, ball top, stainless-steel set screws, and two 72” solid aluminum perching rods. The ground stake is installed in concrete with approximately 24” below ground and 24” remaining above ground, allowing the pole to slide over the stake and rest securely on the concrete base.
T-14 Aluminum Pole Mounting Kit with Brake Winch
The included mounting kit contains the components needed to mount and raise your T-14 House on the aluminum pole. It comes standard with a brake winch, providing controlled raising and lowering of the house for nest checks, maintenance, and end-of-season clean-out.
For landlords who prefer an alternative winching system, the brake winch can be upgraded to a Worm Gear Winch.
The mounting kit includes the house mounting bracket, slider blocks, stainless-steel cable, pulley, safety bolt, chain with lock, tarpaulin hook, winch mounting brackets, and the hardware needed to complete the mounting system.
