T-14 Replacement Roof Set – Polywood or Cedar
Give an existing T-14 house a new roof without replacing the entire house. The T-14 Replacement Roof Set provides all of the roof pieces needed to complete one T-14 Purple Martin house and is available in your choice of durable Polywood or traditional red cedar. These roof sets can be used to replace an existing T-14 roof or to complete a homeowner-built T-14.
Replace the Roof, Keep the House
Over time, the roof of an older T-14 may need replacement while the remainder of the house is still serviceable. A replacement roof set allows you to update the roof and continue using your existing T-14 rather than replacing the entire house.
The roof styles are interchangeable, so an existing cedar T-14 can be fitted with either a new cedar roof or upgraded to a Polywood roof. This also gives landlords building their own T-14 the option of choosing the roof material that best suits their setup.
Complete Roof Set for One T-14
Each replacement roof set provides the pieces necessary to roof one complete T-14 house. The T-14 has four roof sections, with each section using a left and right roof panel. That means a complete set contains eight individual roof panels along with four ridge caps to cover the seams at the peaks.
Polywood Replacement Roof
The Polywood roof provides a durable, low-maintenance alternative to traditional wood. Made from 5/8” Polywood material, the roof panels are washable, will not rot like wood, and are built for long-term outdoor use.
Polywood roof sets are available in your choice of white or green. The pieces are pre-drilled for easier installation, and stainless steel mounting screws are included.
Cedar Replacement Roof
For landlords who prefer the traditional appearance and construction of wood, the replacement roof is also available in heavy-duty red cedar. The cedar roof panels are made from 3/4” boards and provide a natural replacement option for an existing cedar T-14 or a homeowner-built T-14.
Choose the Roof That Works for Your T-14
Because the cedar and Polywood roof sets are interchangeable on a T-14 body, you don’t necessarily have to replace your old roof with the same material. Stay with traditional cedar or choose Polywood for a washable, rot-resistant, lower-maintenance roof.
Extend the Useful Life of Your T-14
A worn or deteriorated roof doesn’t necessarily mean the entire T-14 needs to be replaced.
