Yearly Maintenance
Cable: Check for cable splitting or any cut marks on your cable. Note: stainless cable when properly cared for should last many, many years. To extend the life of your cable use a wire lubricant such as our GetSome.
End of Season
Gourds: Remove gourds and clean them using soap and water and if needed diluted bleach. Store clean gourds inside a barn or shed. Place your hitch pins in the Gourd Hanging Arm holes to keep from loosing them. Lower the hub section for the winter months. Though we recommend you store your gourds in the winter months, if you choose to keep your gourds on your rack don't leave the entrance open, it is a tempting winter home for squirrels. Use Door Shields.
