DGR12 to DGR18 Upgrade/Expansion Kit
Ready to expand your Deluxe 12 Unit Gourd Rack? This upgrade/expansion kit converts a Troyer or Creative Universe Deluxe 12 Unit Gourd Rack into an 18-unit rack while allowing you to reuse many of the components already on your existing system.
To complete this conversion, the pole must first be removed from the ground stake. The existing hub is then disassembled so several original components can be reused with the new 18-unit hub setup.

Once completed, your original 12-unit rack is expanded to hold up to 18 gourds.
Seasonal Installation Note Because the pole must be removed from the ground stake and the hub disassembled, this conversion should be completed before the Purple Martins arrive or after they have left for the season. Do not attempt this conversion while Martins are actively nesting or occupying the rack.
Consider Adding a 2-Foot Extension Piece Since the pole must already be removed from the ground stake for this conversion, this is an ideal time to add the optional 2-foot pole extension. The added height is especially useful when expanding to the larger 18-gourd configuration.
