Accepted Answer

A: The bottom of the 3" hole should be 1" above floor thus the center of the 3" hole should be 2.5" above the floor. This is in case you use wooden nest trays. We dont want the trays to block anything in the tunnel.

You can use these Troyer Tunnels with the adapter plate OR you can look at the Conley II SREH Adapter Plates

https://www.purplemartinproducts.com/Conley-II-SREH-Adapter-Plates-for-wood-or-metal-martin-houses_p_36.html (found under the T-14 Accessories)

No matter what you decide to do you will need to enlarge the round hole on your door front. There is an instruction sheet at the bottom of the page for the SREH Conley II Adapter Plates which will give you an idea of what will be needed to do to convert round holes to SREH.

Accepted Answer

A: The inside depth of the tunnel is approximately 3"

Accepted Answer

A: No. The collar is mounted to the exterior of the houses and the tunnel extends from the collar. You should open your house to clean it, there would be no need to remove the Collar/Tunnel.
