The Deluxe 18-Gourd Rack Kit with Vertical Aluminum Arms gives landlords a way to convert an existing compatible 2-inch square pole setup into an 18-gourd Purple Martin rack while reusing the pole components they already have. This kit provides the hub and gourd hanging components needed for the conversion; the pole and raising/lowering components are not included.
The kit includes a fully assembled Deluxe aluminum 18-unit hub with nylon glide buttons installed, along with 18 vertical aluminum gourd hanging arms. The vertical arm design positions the gourds so they slide onto the hanging arms from left to right when facing the gourd entrance.
Each gourd hanging position also includes a stainless steel hitch pin to secure the gourd onto the arm, for a total of 18 hitch pins.
This is a gourd rack kit, not a complete pole system. The landlord supplies the compatible 2-inch square pole and ground stake, along with the rope and pulley system, rope winder, eyebolt for connecting the rope to the hub, quick link, and pole top cap.
For landlords who already have a compatible 2-inch square pole system, this kit provides the essential components for converting that existing setup into an 18-gourd rack with vertical aluminum hanging arms.
